Despite these limitations, the department&nbsp;was guided by a team of dedicated teachers, whose persistent efforts and&nbsp;commitment to excellence ensured that the subject gained recognition among&nbsp;students. In those early days, only a handful of students opted for the&nbsp;undergraduate course, yet their enthusiasm laid the foundation for the&nbsp;department&rsquo;s steady growth. The&nbsp;department took a major leap forward in 2005 with the introduction of the&nbsp;postgraduate programme (M.Sc. in Computer Science), marking an important&nbsp;milestone in its academic expansion. To strengthen the quality of teaching and&nbsp;research, the department invited experienced external faculty alongside its core&nbsp;teachers, thereby enriching the learning environment.
